The Ergotron user interface is a well‑known and preferred solution in many semiconductor fabs. It provides robust monitor mounting, an integrated keyboard tray, and multi‑directional adjustability to support ergonomic and efficient tool operation.

In this project, a new user interface was integrated into an existing manufacturing EFEM per customer request. The project scope included sheet‑metal panel modifications and the addition of mechanical safety stoppers to ensure the UI arm can swing only within an approved range. These measures were implemented to prevent collisions and improve operator safety.

The integration improved tool access clearances, overall user comfort, and system usability while maintaining compliance with safety requirements.
